Job summary

Aerotek in Elk River, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, repair, and relocate CNC and manual manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, calibrate and adjust tools, and maintain spare parts inventory in a highly regulated medical device environment.

• Experience troubleshooting CNC and manual manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to develop and follow preventative maintenance schedules.
• Familiarity with ERP data entry and spare parts inventory management.
• Skill in calibrating machine tools and adjusting settings.
• Willingness to modify machines and building for specialized functions.
• Comfortable working in a regulated medical device environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and relocate CNC and manual equipment using manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and restore equipment promptly and cost-effectively.
• Develop and perform preventative maintenance (PM) schedules on equipment.
• Maintain technical library and spare parts inventory; data entry into ERP; procure supplies.
• Calibrate and adjust machine tools and equipment.
• Modify machines and building for specialized functions.
• Perform minor building maintenance including plumbing and electrical.
• Respond to spills and other incidents safely.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment per 5S principles.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and relocating complex CNC and manual manufacturing equipment. Additionally, you will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance activities, maintain the technical library and spare parts inventory, calibrate and adjust machine tools and equipment, modify machines for specialized functions, and perform minor building maintenance functions.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and relocate complex CNC and manual manufacturing equipment and machine tools for the facility, referring to manuals, schematics, blueprints, and other relevant documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic, making all necessary corrections and returning the equipment to optimum condition in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance (PM) schedules and perform PM activities on equipment.
• Maintain the technical library and spare parts inventory, including data entry into ERP and procuring supplies.
• Calibrate and adjust machine tools and equipment.
• Modify machines and building for specialized functions.
• Perform minor building maintenance functions, including plumbing and electrical.
• Properly respond to spills and other incidents.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
