Job summary

English Rose Suites in Edina is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain both the exterior and interior of six residential assisted living homes. The role runs Monday–Friday, 32–40 hours weekly, with a wage range of $22–$26/hour DOE.

Responsibilities include plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, floor care, and routine safety checks. Applicants should have a strong work ethic, the ability to lift 75 pounds, a valid MN driver’s license, and a positive attitude when interacting with

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and climbing ladders.
• Valid MN driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to learn new skills and assist with multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete minor plumbing repairs such as replacing a faucet.
• Perform minor carpentry tasks and sanding.
• Interior painting and light electrical repairs.
• Floor care including deep cleaning hardwood floors, tile, and shampooing carpet.
• Provide various minor home repairs and routine maintenance checks.
• Inspect appliances, security and fire systems; assist with HVAC tasks.
• Run errands between homes in company vehicle; assist with landscaping.

Job description

English Rose Suites is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in maintaining both the exterior and interior of our six beautiful residential assisted living homes located in Edina and Hopkins Minnesota.

Shift: 32-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Wage Range: $22 - $26 per hour (DOE)

Support you will providewill vary day to day but consists of:

• Completing Minor plumbing repairs such as replacing a faucet, Minor carpentry work such as sanding
• Interior painting
• Minor electrical repairs such as replacing light fixtures
• Floor care, including deep cleaning hardwood floors, tileand shampooing carpet
• Perform various minor home repairs (replace knobs, light fixtures, level a door, etc.)
• Routine checks on appliances, security and fire systems
• Routine preventive maintenance tasks such as testing fire alarm and security systems, HVAC system
• Run errands to, from and between homes in company provided vehicle
• Support with landscaping needs
• Other minor routine maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed by Maintenance Superintendent.

• Ability to climb ladders, bend at waist, kneel, crouch and lift or push 75 pounds
• Current MN driver’s license and clean driving record
• Capability to learn to operate company vehicle and snowplow
• Professional and positive attitude as you'll be interacting with our Residents and families
• Dependable and excellent time management skills and attendance record, punctual.
