Job summary

Morgan Properties' Sherwood Village Apartments in Eastampton, NJ is hiring a Maintenance Service Technician. In this full-time role, you will troubleshoot a range of service issues and keep common areas in excellent condition according to company standards.

The position requires a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle, plus HVAC/EPA/CFC certification (preferred). Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of related maintenance experience.
• Willingness to respond to on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot HVAC, appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing issues.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas per standards and laws.
• Respond to maintenance service tickets promptly.
• Communicate clearly with residents and staff about repairs and updates.

Now hiring Maintenance Service Technicians!

We are seeking a Service Technician with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of Sherwood Village Apartments, a 304- unit community in Eastampton NJ, meet both company standards and applicable laws.

As the Service Technician, you will help to:

• Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8 AM-5 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required

What We’ll Expect From You
