Qualifications

• 2-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, food production, warehouse, facilities, or a similar environment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and/or refrigeration systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment rather than relying solely on outside vendors.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, instructions, and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs and respond appropriately to urgent issues.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical, trade, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or related certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration issues.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify wear, damage, or potential problems.
• Read and interpret manuals and technical documentation to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Assist with installation, setup, and maintenance of new equipment and facility systems.
• Identify parts, tools, or outside services needed to complete repairs and communicate those needs to management.
• Perform general building and facility maintenance across production, warehouse, and retail locations.
• Troubleshoot and address lighting, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, fixtures, and other building systems.
• Complete minor construction and facility repair projects as needed.
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and operational work environments for employees and customers.
• Follow established preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned maintenance tasks on time.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and equipment service documentation.
• Document completed repairs and communicate recurring or significant equipment concerns to management.
• Monitor equipment conditions and recommend preventative repairs or replacement needs when appropriate.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from production, warehouse, retail, and other operational teams.
• Prioritize maintenance requests based on safety, operational urgency, and business impact.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician plays an important role in keeping Arden’s Garden running. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, machinery, and building systems across our production, warehouse, and retail environments.

From preventative maintenance and equipment repairs to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration issues, you’ll help ensure our teams have safe, reliable equipment and facilities to support daily operations.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just respond when something breaks—they recognize potential problems early and take action before those problems disrupt operations.

What You’ll Do

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
