Carlex Glass America, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our day shift, operating on a 12-hour schedule with a 3-2-2 rotation in Auburn, Indiana. You will repair and troubleshoot equipment, support safe, efficient plant operations, and work with a safety-first mindset.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in a maintenance or technical field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift on a rotating 3-2-2 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to all types of equipment and facilities in a safe, timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot defective equipment to isolate causes and make repairs.
• Follow instructions from Maintenance supervisor on shift.
• Complete daily walk-through inspections on equipment in assigned area.
• Track time through work order completion.
• Assist with troubleshooting production process issues as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, including tools and toolbox.
• Provide status updates on equipment maintenance issues to supervision and operators.
• Promote a team environment and a safety-first culture.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 2 Years in Industrial Maintenance
• Work a 12-hour shift on rotating schedule (3-2-2)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

• Carry out repairs to all types of equipment and facilities in a safe, timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot defective equipment in order to isolate causes and make repairs
• Follow instructions given by Maintenance supervisor on shift
• Complete daily walk through inspections on equipment in assigned area
• Complete run time and down time PM’s on equipment in assigned areas
• Track time through work order completion
• Assist with troubleshooting production process issues as needed
• Keep all work areas clean and tidy – including tools & tool box
• Update supervision, staff and operators, both verbally and via written reports, on the status of equipment maintenance issues
• Promote a team environment
• Work in a safety-first manner while adhering to all LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined Space and Environmental policies
• Respond to internal & external customers in a timely manner
