Job summary

A leading fitness company in Durham, North Carolina is seeking a qualified maintenance technician. Responsibilities include installing and repairing fitness equipment, maintaining various systems, and being on call for emergencies. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, be able to lift 75 pounds, and maintain the company vehicle in excellent condition. Responsibilities

• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing for all locations.
• Travel will be necessary; valid driver's license needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all location
• Inspection of alarm systems
• Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed
• Ability to be on call for maintenance emergencies
• Available nights and weekends
• Travel will be necessary meaning a valid driver's license will be needed. Vehicle transportation will be provided by the company
• Reimbursement will also be provided for travel time
