Job summary

A leading fitness company in Chapel Hill is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install and repair fitness equipment and perform general maintenance duties. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, strong communication skills, and must be available for on-call emergencies including nights and weekends. Qualifications

• Ability to lift items weighing 75 pounds.
• Maintaining excellent condition of company vehicle.
• Must be on call for maintenance emergencies, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations.
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all locations.
• Inspection of alarm systems.
• Ability to be on call for maintenance emergencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all location
• Inspection of alarm systems
• Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed
• Ability to be on call for maintenance emergencies
• Available nights and weekends
• Travel will be necessary meaning a valid driver's license will be needed. Vehicle transportation will be provided by the company
• Reimbursement will also be provided for travel time
