Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Deptford, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Building Operations Department. This full-time role supports property management, tenants, and facilities teams, with duties spanning corrective and preventive maintenance and site-to-site travel.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, 5+ years of commercial maintenance experience, and holds a valid driver's license. HVAC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel site to site.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• HVAC certification preferred (but not required).

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on building systems, following safety rules and procedures.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building issues.
• Respond to service requests, tenant concerns, and emergency calls (24/7 on-call rotation).
• Conduct property inspections, complete maintenance logs, and manage work orders.
• Assist with construction projects, tenant improvements, and capital renovation coordination.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Building Operations Department supporting property management, tenants, and facilities teams.
