Job summary

The Ivy Mountain View in Denver, CO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our premier senior living community. This full-time role runs Sunday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, with a pay range of $20.00 to $21.50 per hour and opportunities to support residents and facilities.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in building, maintenance, and/or housekeeping
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel)
• Strong desire to work with the elderly
• Ability to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (TB etc.)
• Vaccination/ PPE requirements per regulatory guidelines for safety

Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Assist with apartment turnovers – painting, carpet cleaning, pressure washing.
• Maintain grounds including pool and spa if applicable.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Prefer six (6) months of experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping handling the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and structural matters. Knowledge of building construction is helpful.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of COVID‑19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
