Job summary

AmeriLux Family of Companies is seeking a motivated maintenance technician to support our manufacturing and production teams in De Pere, Wisconsin. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and assist with new equipment installations to maximize uptime and ensure product quality.

You will work with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, maintain records, and provide training to operators while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for rebuilding gears, alignment plates, fixtures and forming equipment.
• Low Voltage wiring installation and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of three-phase circuits and motor control circuits.
• Basic understanding of industrial controls (contactors, relays, etc.).
• Basic pneumatic systems knowledge.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and machine documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic tools and implement corrective actions.
• Support upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Maintain maintenance records and performance data.
• Provide technical training to operators and team members.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean.

We are looking for a dedicated and driven team member to provide crucial support for our manufacturing and production team. In this role, you will maintain and improve production equipment by diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting new equipment installations. This position works closely with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to maximize uptime, improve efficiency, and maintain high product quality standards.

Compensation

$20-$40/hours

• Yearly bonus

Shifts & Schedule

• Day and Nights
• 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic tools and implement corrective actions.
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and performance data.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and team members.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate with production, engineering, and external partners to resolve equipment issues efficiently.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Mechanical aptitude- rebuild gears, alignment plates, fixtures and forming equipment.
