This role leverages mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC skills in a fast-paced setting, with CMMS record-keeping and safety compliance central to daily work.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repair of building interior systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
• Experience with CMMS for work orders and logs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of interior systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and facilities infrastructure.
• Perform repairs using hand tools, power tools, and schematics to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain electrical systems using testing devices like ohmmeters.
• Carry out painting and drywall upkeep to preserve facility aesthetics.
• Operate PLCs for troubleshooting automated systems when applicable.
• Support safe installation of mechanical components and oversee projects.
• Document maintenance activities and logs in CMMS.
• Assist in safety inspections and compliance with regulations.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Handyman to join our dynamic facilities team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and operational tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our building interiors and facilities equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a seamless environment that supports our operational excellence and enhances the experience for all occupants. Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building interior systems, including HVAC units, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and facilities infrastructure

• Perform repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to troubleshoot issues efficiently

• Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment utilizing electrical experience and tools such as ohmmeters

• Execute plumbing repairs and system maintenance to ensure optimal operation of water supply and drainage systems

• Carry out painting projects including maintenance painting and residential painting to uphold facility aesthetics

• Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automated systems when applicable

• Supervise or assist with the installation of mechanical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards

• Maintain accurate records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work orders and maintenance logs

• Support safety protocols by inspecting facilities for hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations

• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and repair operations (MRO)

• Proficiency in electrical work including troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems

• Skilled in plumbing system maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting techniques

• Knowledge of HVAC system repair, including diagnosing issues with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units

• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams effectively

• Experience with welding techniques for metal repairs or fabrication projects

• Familiarity with building interior maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, and drywall repair

• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, and electrical testing devices like ohmmeters

• Leadership or supervising experience is a plus for coordinating team efforts during large projects or repairs

• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members

• Experience working within manufacturing or industrial environments is advantageous
