Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Covington, VA. This 2nd shift role (4:00pm - 1:00am) focuses on building repairs, preventative maintenance and safety compliance to support operations.

You’ll respond to emergencies, execute light construction tasks, and conduct regular inspections with strong customer focus and a dependable work ethic. Requires 1+ year maintenance experience and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in building/property maintenance.
• Working knowledge of work order and preventative maintenance software systems.
• Experience with plumbing, HVAC systems/maintenance, painting, drywall and light carpentry/construction projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel).
• OSHA 10 hour – General Industry Safety Training is preferred.
• Flexibility in work schedule - available for off-hours emergency response.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Clear motor vehicle record (MVR).

About You

As the Maintenance Technician, you’re a dependable, self-starter with experience in building and property maintenance. You quickly identify issues and recommend corrective measures to ensure quality and safety. You have a strong work ethic and bring a positive, customer-centric approach to your work, whether it’s responding to an emergency request, working through light construction projects or conducting regular inspections.

Please note: This is a 2nd Shift Role (4:00pm - 1:00am).
