Job summary

General Hotels Corporation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for Hampton Inn Corydon, Corydon, IN. You will maintain and repair hotel facilities, guest rooms, and public areas to keep the property in top condition for guests.

You will work with the team to perform routine and preventative maintenance, install new equipment as needed, and keep detailed records while following safety regulations. Hospitality experience is preferred, and evenings/weekends availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as maintenance technician, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and friendly, professional manner
• Inspect and maintain all guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to ensure they are in good working order
• Perform preventative maintenance on all hotel equipment and systems
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all aspects of our hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and equipment.
