Pro Staff is urgently hiring Maintenance Technicians in the Coopersville, MI area. The role focuses on corrective maintenance with some preventive tasks to keep production lines running and minimize downtime.

You will diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on automated equipment, read complex diagrams, and collaborate with automation/engineering teams to implement deeper fixes. The position requires hands-on troubleshooting and tool usage.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment and robotics.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on automated/robotic production equipment.
• Reading electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams to troubleshoot fast and accurately.
• Working with PLCs to identify faults and root causes.
• Handling scheduled preventive maintenance on subsystems and equipment.
• Using power tools and diagnostic equipment to complete tasks.
• Documenting what broke, what you did, and any recommendations for improvement.
• Teaming up with the automation/engineering group for deeper fixes.

Now Urgently Hiring: Maintenance Technicians

Location: Coopersville, MI Area

Pay: Up to $35.00/hour

Shift Differential: Additional $1.00/hour for eligible shifts

The Role

Keep production running. When automated/robotic equipment goes down, you're the one who diagnoses the problem and gets it back online — fast. This is a corrective-maintenance-focused role with some scheduled preventive maintenance mixed in, not a design or engineering desk job.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on automated/robotic production equipment
• Reading electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams — including complex automated system drawings — to troubleshoot fast and accurately
• Working with PLCs to identify faults and root causes
• Handling scheduled preventive maintenance on subsystems and equipment
• Using power tools and diagnostic/measuring equipment to get the job done right
• Documenting what broke, what you did, and any recommendations for improvement
• Teaming up with the automation/engineering group when an issue needs a deeper fix

Qualifications
