Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in a property-management context. You will be responsible for preserving the property's physical attributes, supporting management, and ensuring safety and quality in service to residents.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of maintenance experience within a community setting, strong knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related trades, excellent written and spoken English,

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance experience in a community setting.
• Knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and building maintenance.
• Proficient in writing, speaking and understanding English.
• Able to use computers and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Own and help drive the preservation of the property's physical attributes.
• Provide support to management in upholding community and corporate standards.
• Ensure that all safety measures are enforced.
• Assist in maintaining the shop, company equipment, inventory control and ensuring key security.
• Be an inspector! Curb appeal is imperative, make sure the property looks its’ best.
• Provide excellent customer service to all prospective and existing residents and your teammates.

At least one year prior experience in the maintenance needs of a community
