• Investigate and correct minor production line problems.
  • Routinely patrol the plant; observe and listen to machines or equipment to identify machine malfunctions.
  • Inspect equipment and systems and make recommendations for repair.
  • Utilize hand tools, gauges and instruments to determine source of problems.
  • Correct minor machine issues.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repair of more complicated or significant machine failures.
  • Propose repair ideas to the Shift Supervisor and Maintenance Supervisor to develop a repair plan.
• Perform general and preventative maintenance and repair.
  • Inspect for visual flaws, and clean machines as necessary.
  • Maintain documented information of completed repairs and maintenance activities in FaciliWorks CMMS
• Physical requirements
  • Walk, stand, crouch, kneel, crawl and sit up to 12 hours in one day.
  • Routinely lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
