Job summary

Sage Ventures, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, repairs, and grounds upkeep across properties in the greater Baltimore/Washington region. Under supervision, you will handle HVAC work, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs, while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires one year of relevant experience, own tools, and readiness to be on call in a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• HVAC and appliance repair knowledge with at least one year of experience.
• General maintenance knowledge required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with minimal supervision.
• Must have own tools and meet safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and structures.
• Provide preventative HVAC maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Handle readies, turns and work orders.
• Contribute to grounds maintenance and on-call rotation.

Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance.

• HVAC - preventative maintenance, repair, and installation
• Make readies
• Turns and work orders
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• Appliance repair
• Excellent customer service experience required
• Must be willing to be on call one week at a time on a rotation basis

Requirements

• HVAC and appliance repair knowledge with at least one year of experience
• General maintenance knowledge
• Depending on location, may be required to have dependable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Able to work well with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• General knowledge of safety rules and regulations
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must have own tools
