Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality focused Plant Operations Technician to join our team. The role maintains residential apartments and public areas, performing maintenance tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and resident comfort.

This full-time position requires weekend on-call rotation and a commitment to confidentiality. We value team collaboration, outstanding service, and the well-being of residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Must possess working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to function under general supervision.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Plant Operations Technician (Maintenance Technician) is responsible for the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished through the performance of simple tasks that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools, and equipment. The Maintenance Tech serves as a member of the Maintenance team that is responsible for the physical condition of all buildings on campus. This Full-Time position will require a rotating weekend on call phone.
