We're hiring a Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance team at our Coalinga plant. In this role, you'll help keep our processing and packing equipment running safely and reliably. You will be performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and completing repairs that keep production on schedule. You'll report to the Maintenance Manager, follow all safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, and look for ways to make our equipment and processes better.
High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical coursework in industrial maintenance a plus. Practical experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a food production setting, with strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. Experience with VFDs, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems is expected. Comfortable working independently, with a team, and as experience grows, mentoring less experienced teammates.
This role is performed in a food manufacturing environment that may include high noise levels, temperature extremes, and dusty conditions, with work performed indoors/outdoors. You'll regularly stand, walk, climb, bend, and reach throughout your shift, and must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
