Job description

Maintenance Technician - Macomb County

• $30 to $35 per hour
• Contract to Hire
• Injection molding experience required

Specific Responsibilities:

• Understating of Compress air systems, Resin dryers, and mold temperature controllers
• Performs maintenance on primary and secondary equipment per the PM schedule
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics in order to perform electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs
• Program robots, sprue pickers, etc.
• Understanding of electrical, PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills to repair them.
• Machine Installation Power, and Cooling Systems
• Troubleshoots and repairs high priority production equipment on the plant floor
• Able to disassembles damaged mechanisms to determine extent of troubles
• Able to repair/replace defective parts and reassemble.
• Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation
• Ability to ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.

Required Experience:

• 5 years of maintenance experience in the injection molding industry.
• Solid Understanding of electrical, pneumatics and Hydraulic Prints and schematics
• Able to properly use welder, hand and power tools.
• Creates and interprets electrical schematics.
• High School Education or Equivalent (GED);
