Job summary

Hellenic-Organization-LLC is seeking two part-time Maintenance Technicians to ensure our Elyria/Lorain and Cleveland/Lakewood properties operate efficiently. You will inspect buildings, perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and document service history.

A reliable team player with 2+ years of maintenance experience is preferred. The role requires on-call availability including nights and weekends, with a focus on safety and preventative upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems is necessary.
• Must be on-call for nights and weekends and respond to maintenance requests.
• Reliable team player with good communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment.
• Inspect building for damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform repairs as needed.
• Keep records of repairs and service dates for equipment.
• Develop preventative maintenance measures to reduce safety risks.
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they're operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
• Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
