Beechtree Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Maintenance Worker who can think quickly, stay organized, and be reliable and personable. The role requires using basic hand tools and possessing knowledge in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting, and snow removal.

You will perform repairs and keep the facility and equipment in good working order. Responsibilities include maintaining building and grounds, fixing minor facility issues, and ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Formación

• Experience using basic hand tools (saws, screwdrivers, hammers)
• Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting
• Ability to perform minor repairs and operate maintenance equipment

Responsabilidades

• Maintain building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
• Repair basic facility functions as needed
• Care for tools and equipment and keep them organized
• Perform minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, and electrical systems
• Change filters on HVAC equipment

We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge in using basic hand tools i.e.; saws, screwdrivers, hammers, and basic power tools. You must also have knowledge of carpentry, electrical plumbing, flooring, painting, and snow removal.

As a Maintenance Worker, your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
• Maintaining and repairing basic functions of the facility
• Taking care of the tools and equipment
• Making minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, Geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkling systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers
• Changing filters on HVAC equipment
