Job summary

Atterro is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Cincinnati, OH to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment for safe, efficient production. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and strong reading of schematics and blueprints.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and five years of related maintenance experience. PLC knowledge and experience with manufacturing equipment are preferred.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with print, packaging or POP/display production equipment preferred.
  • Basic math skills, including whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance, including ampere, voltage and resistance checks, lubrication and fluid level checks.
  • Identify and resolve conditions affecting production, safety and mechanical or building systems.
  • Perform general maintenance, emergency repairs, equipment monitoring and technical development.
  • Conduct monthly inspections of fire and safety systems and maintain facility appearance.
  • Manage warranty tracking, follow-up and repairs across all systems.
  • Record equipment checks, document operational changes and adhere to safety, PPE and 6S standards.

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
Experience Requirements
  • Five years of related maintenance experience and/or training required
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, production equipment and electrical circuit troubleshooting
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to perform hands‑on mechanical work, including lubrication, bearing checks and belt replacement
  • Ability to move throughout the facility to inspect equipment, lighting and safety systems
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions, schematics and correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively in one‑on‑one and small group settings
