Job summary

The Lookout is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure facilities and machinery are kept in optimal condition. You will interact with property owners, guests, and other departments to resolve maintenance issues as they arise.

Responsibilities include inspections, preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and proper record-keeping. Must have a high school diploma or GED; on-site, varied shifts, and pay from $22.00 per hour.

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring that facilities and machinery are kept in optimal condition. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. Ideal candidate is someone who can effectively communicate and interact with property owners, guests, and other departments to repair and resolve maintenance related issues as they arise.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Repair and replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools.
Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns in a timely manner.
Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance schedules.
Assist with the installation of new machinery and systems as needed.
Follow safety procedures and comply with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other technicians and departments to support operational needs.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promote a positive and professional attitude to all guests/homeowners.
• Knowledge of Lookout Community Rules.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good physical condition and strength, with the ability to lift heavy equipment.
Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts if necessary.

Valid driver's license required.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
