Job summary

VIVA USA Inc is seeking a maintenance helper to support our team by adding and maintaining oil levels for CNC machines, performing oiling tasks, and assisting with preventative maintenance across plant equipment.

The role involves reading and following instructions, logging oil levels, and assisting with repairs. The schedule is 8am to 4pm, on-site, with standard safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with lubrication products or oiling of machines.
• Preventative maintenance experience on CNC, machines, or trucks/automotive.
• Millwright experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Identify correct oil tagging information to match oil product with tank label.
• Change oil or air filters on machines or equipment.
• Clean out pits, oil or coolant reservoirs.
• Assist client maintenance technicians with repairs of CNC machines.
• Oversee, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on lighting, heating, and cooling equipment/systems in plant.
• Visually check and maintain inventories, oil levels in machines and oil level log.
• Drive a golf cart or buggy.
• Maintain tools, work area, and equipment in clean and orderly fashion.
• Adhere to all safety/health policies and regulations.
• Adapt to shifting priorities.

Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to support our maintenance team with adding and maintaining oil levels for the CNC machines, support chip removal and tank cleanouts, preventative maintenance support, and minor repairs under the direction of our supervisors.

Job Requirements

• Experience with lubrication products or oiling of machines
• Some level of preventative maintenance experience helpful on CNC, machines, or trucks/automotive.
• Mill right experience a plus
