Job summary

LyvWell Apartments seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain the Charlotte community. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems to ensure resident comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in commercial or multi-unit properties, a High School Diploma or GED, and a customer-service mindset. Certifications in HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing are preferred; weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1–2 years of property maintenance experience preferred.
• Preferred certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing.
• Must communicate clearly in English and provide good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Repair, replace, and maintain HVAC systems and components.
• Perform plumbing repairs and installations (sinks, toilets, faucets).
• Carry out carpentry tasks (doors, shelves, countertops, locks).
• Handle painting and drywall/plaster repairs as needed.
• Address electrical tasks and appliance wiring; replace switches and lamps.

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, for all work-related responsibilities.
