Job summary

A Maintenance Technician position for a 2:30pm-10pm shift with overtime is available in our facility. The role requires strong electrical troubleshooting, mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of high‑voltage wiring to support production lines.

You will perform multi‑craft maintenance, inspect machines, create repair lists, and address both short‑ and long‑term repairs to keep equipment running efficiently. CMMS experience and basic MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience required.
• Experience with 480V 3-phase systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS and work order systems is beneficial.
• Ability to diagnose faults across electrical and mechanical subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on production equipment.
• Respond to maintenance calls to keep lines up and running.
• Inspect machines and develop repair lists for short- and long-term fixes.
• Troubleshoot a wide variety of equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with operators and teams to minimize downtime.
• Work under pressure to restore equipment quickly.

Job description

Maintenance Technician 230pm-10pm M-F with overtime

Strong electrical troubleshooting skills

Strong mechanical aptitude

Understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors)

Multi-craft maintenance and repair (e.g., performing interrelated repairs on electrical systems and mechanical systems

Willingness to work under pressure to fix equipment

Work urgently to get the equipment back up and running

Troubleshooting issues on a wide variety of equipment

Will conduct repair failures of production and facilities equipment

Ensure maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability

Responding to maintenance calls is part of your job, and this can sometimes mean helping complete a repair that has already been started

You will inspect machines, develop repair lists, and identify short-term and long-term repairs so that machines run correctly

Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Office.

Experience with C.M.M.S. software (Preventive Maintenance/Work Order distribution systems).

Understanding encoders and equipment timing.

Knowledge of Servo drives and motors.

Variable Frequency drive operation and configuration.

Basic knowledge of logic software.

Strong knowledge of how components interact with PLCs (photo eyes, proximity sensors, etc.).
