Maverick Gaming is seeking a maintenance engineer to service casino facilities in Colorado. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing physical assets, ensuring safety, and supporting guest comfort across properties.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and a referral program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years in a fast-paced establishment.
• Colorado Driver's License with clean record.
• English reading/writing and basic math.
• Ability to operate hand/power tools and safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Proactively takes responsibility and performs engineering maintenance and repair.
• Monitor all engineering equipment to ensure safety and comfort for guests and staff.
• Respond promptly to requests for engineering assistance.
• Maintain clean equipment and equipment rooms.
• Ensure daily work logs are accurate and current.
• Keep all equipment operating properly.
• Snow removal in all areas of properties.
• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with guests and coworkers.
• Wear and maintain uniforms properly.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Follow Colorado Limited Gaming Act requirements and security policies.
• Perform other duties as directed.

• Monitor all engineering equipment to ensure the safety and comfort of casino customers and employees.
• Respond promptly to requests for engineering assistance.
• Maintain clean equipment and equipment rooms.
• Ensure that daily work logs are accurate and current.
• Keep all equipment operating properly.
• Snow removal in all areas at all properties.
• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with guests and coworkers.
• Wear and maintain all uniforms properly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Use any necessary safety equipment.
• Follow security policies and procedures. Perform duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
• Perform other duties as directed.
• Flexible schedule that includes evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• A Colorado Limited Gaming Support License is preferred.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 2-3 years’ experience preferable working in a fast-paced establishment.
• Colorado Driver’s License and good driving record are required.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions and communicate with employees and customers in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge and experience at application and usage of hand and power tools, stationary power tools and potentially hazardous chemicals cleaners, snow and ice removal equipment including pickup trucks, skid steer, forklift and man lift.
• Knowledgeable in hazardous material standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Constant brisk walking, setting up and climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and standing for an entire work shift, with standard breaks. Working in confined areas, with floors, which are or may become slippery. Lifting up to 75 pounds to move supplies and equipment. Working indoor and outdoor, which is subject to extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions and frequently high noise levels. May work at heights up to 30 feet.

Salary: $23 - $29 / hr.
