Job summary

Eads Cooling Solutions LLC in Catoosa, OK is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role oversees multiple locations, installs and inspects machinery, and performs preventive maintenance to keep industrial equipment operational.

You will train production workers, prepare maintenance reports, and uphold safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. A strong mechanical background and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or technical school training preferred.
• 5+ years of related mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance.
• Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment; follow instructions; maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Dismantles machinery and replaces defective parts.
• Determines changes in parts requirements by inspecting instruments.
• Maintains inventories of equipment, parts and supplies.
• Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
• Prepares maintenance reports by collecting and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Requisitions supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Must have reliable transportation to access multiple facilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Mfg. Maintenance Technician will oversee multiple locations and perform various tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They will install and inspect machines and electrical equipment and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure industrial machines remain operational.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipmentby completing preventive maintenance.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices inoperation.
• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defectiveparts.
• Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring variousinstruments.
• Maintains inventories of equipment, parts andsupplies.
• Trains production workers on routine preventivemaintenance.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions andrequests.
• Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information andtrends.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, andregulations.
• Requisitions supplies and materials needed for repairs andmaintenance.
• Must have reliable transportation to maintain multiple company facilities.
• Performs other related duties asassigned.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or equivalent isrequired.
• Associates degree or technical school trainingpreferred.
• 5+yearsofrelatedmechanicexperienceworkinginamanufacturingsettingishighlypreferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance.
• Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment. In depth knowledge of systemmaintenance.
• Able to follow instructions fromsupervisors.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and timemanagement.
• Good communication, basic computer, and reporting writingskills.
• Prolonged periods standing andwalking.
• Must be physically able to climb, bend, or crawl into awkwardspaces.
• Must be able to lift and move heavyequipment.
