Job summary

Somerset Pacific, LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to oversee operations of a low-income/affordable housing community. You will handle maintenance requests, routine upkeep, and grounds work to keep residents safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in property management or housing communities.
• Ability to perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry) and routine Maintenance tasks.
• Strong focus on safety and adhering to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of maintenance service requests and regular tasks; may include painting, appliance repair, flooring, and minor carpentry.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
• Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance coverage as scheduled.
• Grounds work including trash pickup, curb/ dumpster area upkeep, and landscaping.
• Alert Community Manager to any unusual occurrences or damages.
• Support special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for the timely completion of all maintenance service requests and regular maintenance as assigned - may include painting, appliance repairs, replacing or repairing flooring, cleaning, replace window coverings, minor plumbing, minor carpentry, minor electrical
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled
• Grounds work - may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas, and maintaining landscaping
• Responsible for alerting Community Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur
• Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
