Job summary

Sage Ventures is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, repairs on facility equipment and property structures, and grounds maintenance under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.

The role includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair, plus excellent customer service. On-call duty is required on a weekly rotation; candidates must have their own tools and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HVAC and appliance repair knowledge with at least one year of experience.
• General maintenance knowledge is required.
• May require dependable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must have your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC preventive maintenance, repair, and installation.
• Make readies and turns on work orders.
• Handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair tasks.

Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance.

• HVAC - preventative maintenance, repair, and installation
• Make readies
• Turns and work orders
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• Appliance repair
• Excellent customer service experience required
• Must be willing to be on call one week at a time on a rotation basis

Requirements:

• HVAC and appliance repair knowledge with at least one year of experience
• General maintenance knowledge
• Depending on location, may be required to have dependable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Able to work well with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• General knowledge of safety rules and regulations
• Good communication and customer service skills
