Job summary

Hyatt House Anchorage, proudly managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and service hotel facilities, equipment, guest rooms, and public areas for a safe and well-maintained environment.

The role includes preventive maintenance, handling repair requests, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting overall hotel operations while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are important.
  • Ability to obtain any government-required or brand-required permits, licenses, or certificates.
  • Previous hotel, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Up to 40 hours per week with varied and flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair, and service hotel facilities, equipment, guest rooms, and public areas to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.

Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing hotel facilities, equipment, guest rooms, and public areas to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. The Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance, completes repair requests, troubleshoots equipment issues, and supports overall hotel operations while following safety and quality standards.
