Superior Energy Services Careers in Broussard, LA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and facilities. You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and execute preventive maintenance while updating records and coordinating with operations to minimize downtime.

The role requires reading electrical/plumbing schematics and operating equipment like forklifts and cranes, with emphasis on safety and compliance with company policies.

Competenze

• Ability to read electrical and various plumbing schematics.
• Ability to set up a safe and productive work flow.
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Operates forklift and overhead crane.
• Knowledge of AWS standards preferred.

Responsible for the safe and efficient operations of equipment and facilities though routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and timely repairs.

• Perform regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures using tools and technical documentation
• Execute preventive maintenance programs and update records accordingly
• Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, valves, belts, and bearings
• Respond to urgent breakdowns and conduct safety checks before restarting operations
• Collaborate with production or operations teams to minimize disruption
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and submit requests for replenishment
• Adhere to safety protocols, building codes, and company policies
• Maintains a safe & productive workplace
• Troubleshoots and/or repairs facility, operational and portable equipment as defined by the Company
• Completes necessary documentation associated with the equipment maintenance program processes
• Control inventory and order shop supplies according to Company procedures
• Proposes recommendations to improve the equipment maintenance program processes
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
