Job summary

Presbyterian Homes & Services - Maranatha is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep buildings, grounds, and equipment safe and well-maintained at our Brooklyn Center, MN community.

The role includes evening and weekend shifts on a rotating schedule, campus upkeep, floor care, resident moves, remodeling, painting, snow removal, pools, and other projects. Reports to Environmental Service Director.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform Level I core competencies as defined by site requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask under supervision.
  • Provide a professional image and services to customers.
  • Read, write, speak and understand English to communicate with customers.

  • Maintain an attractive campus appearance.

  • Assignments may include floor care, resident moves, remodeling, painting, building maintenance, customer requests, landscape care, snow removal, pools, and other projects.

SCHEDULE/HOURS: Every other Friday and Monday 5p - 9p as well as Every other Saturday and Sunday 8am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for creating a safe and secure environment by maintaining the buildings, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to perform Level I core competencies specific to job as defined by site requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $19.75 - $22.64 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.

Benefits

Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
