Job summary

Resurrection Life Church is seeking an Ambassador of Maintenance in Bowie, MD to uphold the community’s appearance and provide exceptional resident services. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventative maintenance, along with handling emergency repair needs and turnover preparation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years maintenance experience with HVAC repair and upkeep of apartment equipment and related systems.
• Experience preparing apartment turnovers and flooring installations; ability to work independently and professionally.
• Willingness to train to develop skills and attain licenses/certifications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; good communication with residents and contractors.
• CFC - Type 2 may be required.
• Active, valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems to ensure safe operation.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and perform corrective, preventative, and emergency maintenance.
• Assist with apartment turnover preparation and flooring installations as needed.
• Service community equipment and HVAC systems, and coordinate with third-party contractors.

Description

The Ambassador of Maintenance is considered critical to the overall success of our community. The Ambassador of Maintenance is responsible for fostering a sense of community by offering an unparalleled living experience for resident and providing excellence in customer service through; maintaining the physical appearance and upkeep of the community; service resident's day-to-day maintenance needs with respect to their apartment homes; provide corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance throughout the community; ensure safe and satisfactory operation of apartment appliances; perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and floor repairs; assist with apartment turnover preparation; service community equipment, and HVAC systems; and any other duties assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years maintenance experience in individual HVAC repair and preventative maintenance of individual or central plant equipment, appliance, plumbing and electrical systems and repairs, fire safety equipment and repairs.
• Experience in preparation of apartment turnovers and flooring installations; ability to assist and follow instructions in the performance of all maintenance repairs and duties independently, professionally and in a timely manner.
• Initiative, motivation, and ability to continue training to develop skills and attain licenses and certifications.
• Good organizational and time management skills; good interpersonal skills for communications with residents and third party contractors.
• CFC - Type 2 may be required.
