Description	The Senior Craftsperson is responsible for performing all functions necessary for plant maintenance in support of the overall site operations. The Senior Craftsperson performs a variety of tasks including preventive, scheduled, and emergency mechanical maintenance and is a multi-craft mechanic with an emphasis on rotating equipment.
Job Details	Role Specific Responsibilities: Ensures workplace safety by participating in the Behavior Based Safety Observations while practicing and following all site safety policies, guidelines, and procedures Complies with all Aurorium Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures Provides maintenance to plant utilities equipment and rotating equipment repairs including ANSI pump repair, mechanical seal installation/trouble shooting, alignment methods and bearing fits/tolerances Performs centrifugal pump repair inclusive of mechanical seal installation and other rotating equipment repair involving gear reduction drives, agitators and blowers Executes additional general maintenance duties including industrial pipe fitting, heat exchanger repair, rigging/crane use, etc. Identifies, diagnoses, and communicates issues that arise with equipment Completes preventative maintenance duties and records critical information appropriately Maintains outstanding housekeeping and 5S Performs daily activities independently (or with a team) with minimal supervision while maintaining communication with management Possess a Boiler Operator's license Performs other duties as assigned Compliance: Complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and arrangements Reports all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents and near misses promptly Acts in a safe and responsible manner at all times Problem Solving and Innovation: Active participation in continuous improvement activities Participates in problem-solving Takes responsibility and ownership for own learning and development in the spirit of continuous improvement of both self and the business Assists in the training, mentoring, and assessment of other team members Exercises autonomy and judgement subject to overall direction or guidance Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High School Diploma or equivalent required Certification from an accredited training institute Minimum four (4) years of related industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing required, chemical manufacturing experience preferred Experience wearing required PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel toe shoes, gloves and a respirator Minimum four (4) years of related industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing required, chemical manufacturing experience preferred Experience wearing required PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel toe shoes, gloves and a respirator to changing business needs and priorities Self-motivated and ability to work within a fast paced environment Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills Ability to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as lifting, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds, working outside in all weather conditions, climbing ladders, etc. Willingness to work a non-standard shift, weekends, and/or overtime required Embodies the core values of Aurorium: credible:keeps their word and honors their commitments, acts with integrity, and holds themselves accountable to their decisions and actions outcome-oriented:adheres to an unparalleled standard of excellence in everything they do, to deliver results with real impact driven:passionate about delivering authentic, world-class experiences that engage customers and inspire greatness empowered accountability:empowered to achieve common goals and accountable for delivering performances and results that exceed standard.
