Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group in Bentonville, AR seeks a Maintenance Technician to upkeep and repair hotel facilities, equipment, and grounds. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to requests, and help keep guest areas clean, safe, and welcoming.

Candidates should have maintenance experience, good communication, and the ability to multitask; additional education or certification is a plus. This full-time role requires day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Perform maintenance and repairs, and preventative maintenance, to all areas of the hotel.
• Service hallways, public areas, and rooms as needed along with all other tasks as assigned.
• Complete all maintenance requests and tasks as assigned for the day.
• Visually inspect public areas and overall resort for cleanliness, appearance, and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and for the security of the hotel inventory and assets.

• Maintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with the guest.

THE ROLE

Our hotel team is seeking a motivated, and energetic Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Department and be responsible for the upkeep and repair of a hotel's physical structure, equipment, and grounds.

What we will ask of you:

• Perform maintenance and repairs, and preventative maintenance, to all areas of the hotel.
• Service hallways, public areas, and rooms as needed along with all other tasks as assigned.
• Complete all maintenance requests and tasks as assigned for the day.
• Visually inspect public areas and overall resort for cleanliness, appearance, and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and for the security of the hotel inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests; Practice chemical safety rules and follows procedures for needles and other hazardous materials.
• Report all suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Manager.
• Follow all Lost and Found protocols.
• Maintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with the guest.
• Ability to order supplies, to receive instructions for the day and/or to read equipment manuals including safety information.

Requirements for Success:

• Have a positive energy, be ready to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
• Prior maintenance experience is preferred.
• Good communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to assist in all maintenance duties
• Additional education, training, or certification preferred
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to constantly stand and walk with occasional stooping, kneeling, ascending, reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting
