Job summary

Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village in Bend, OR is seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Technician to join our Building Services team.

This role runs 5 days a week, 8 am–5 pm, with one weekend day required. Starting pay is $24.71–$28.87 per hour, with full benefits, paid time off and an inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Painting and maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of wall preparation and painting practices.
• Knowledge of job site safety.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and follow oral and written instructions.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to undergo background checks, drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform flooring, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting and electrical tasks.
• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs to keep the community in excellent condition.
• Maintain safety and environmental practices on site.
• Communicate maintenance activities to residents, staff and visitors.

Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village, located at 19800 SW Touchmark Way on Bend's Westside, is a premier, award-winning senior living resort community, and we are seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Technician to join our Building Services team.

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position.

Shift is 5 days per week, 8 am - 5 pm, with one weekend day required.

Starting pay: $24.71- $28.87 hourly (depending on experience!) plus full benefits, steady work and paid time off.

We are looking for our next amazing team member who can bring their skills in maintenance to our community and help complete daily tasks with flooring, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, electrical and more. Our property is in great shape thanks to our exceptional maintenance team!

The ideal candidate will:

• Be committed to and passionate about 100% customer satisfaction
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess painting and maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of wall preparation and painting practices
• Knowledge of job site safety
• Be able to read, write, and speak English and follow oral and written instruction
• Ability to communicate maintenance and environmental safety practices
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
• Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
