Work Shift
- 2nd Shift – Monday – Friday 2:00pm – 10:30pm, weekends and overtime as needed
- 3rd Shift – Monday – Friday 10:00pm – 6:30am, weekends and overtime as needed
- Weekend Days – Saturday – Monday 6:00am – 6:30pm, overtime and weekdays as needed
- Weekend Nights – Saturday – Monday 6:00pm – 6:30am, overtime and weekdays as needed
- 10% shift differential for 2nd, 3rd, and weekend night hours
- $2/hr extra when working Saturdays and Sundays
Responsibilities
- Execute troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities on Tetra Pak systems.
- Provide technical guidance for setups, PMs, and root cause analysis of electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
- Proactively monitor and maintain Tetra Pak Filler A3 Compact Flex, Filler A3 Flex, Straw Applicator, SA 30 Cap Applicator, Cap 30 Flex, Cardboard Packer CBP 32, Electric Servo Accumulator, ACHX 30 Homogenizer, and M300.
- Take calls at Blending and Processing as needed.
- Configure and tune PID control loops in process applications.
- Commission new instrumentation, equipment, and processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement system improvements that enhance safety, reliability, and competitiveness.
- Train and coach other plant maintenance staff on Tetra Pak equipment and control systems.
- Support Clean‑In‑Place (CIP), aseptic integrity, fluid flow systems, and utility controls.
- Perform other duties within the department as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to direct and motivate team members and complete tasks with limited supervision.
- Advanced analytical and electrical/mechanical problem‑solving skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance.
- Experience with machine modifications and rebuilds.
- Flexible work schedule, willing to work other shifts, overtime, and weekends.
- Basic computer skills and ability to obtain forklift or scissor lift license.
- Proficient with a multimeter; excellent communication skills.
- English proficiency for safety instructions, work procedures, policies, and communications.
- Comfortable lifting 50+lbs and capable of completing required fitness tests.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical college or university degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
- Experience troubleshooting basic electrical systems (24VDC, 480VAC, proximity sensors, motor controls, VFDs, etc.).
- Expertise with Tetra Pak equipment in the aseptic beverage industry.
- Familiarity with HMI (PanelViewPlus), servo systems (Kinetix6000), AC drives (Powerflex4,70,525), analog instrumentation, digital I/O, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication in a business environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team environment.
- Willing to work on call during off hours.
