Louisiana Fish Fry Products in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to support safe, reliable operation of our production equipment and facility systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, complete repairs and changeovers, and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

This hands-on role offers growth across multiple skill levels, with advancement based on your experience, technical capabilities, and demonstrated proficiency.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade training preferred.
• Industrial, manufacturing, or production maintenance experience would be beneficial.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial safety practices.
• Experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, and/or fabrication systems is a plus.
• Ability to safely use common maintenance, diagnostic, and measuring tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills; CMMS experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
• Support equipment changeovers, installations, start-ups, and continuous improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues based on experience and skill level.
• Read and interpret work orders, technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Use maintenance, diagnostic, and precision-measuring tools safely and effectively.
• Document completed maintenance work and parts usage in the CMMS.
• Partner with Operations to complete repairs efficiently and minimize production downtime.
• Identify and communicate equipment, safety, and reliability concerns.
• Follow all safety, LOTO, GMP, food safety, sanitation, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized tools, parts, and work areas.
• Participate in maintenance planning, training, and emergency response as needed.
• Support maintenance needs across company facilities as required.

About the Role

Louisiana Fish Fry Products is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our production equipment and facility systems.

In this hands-on role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, complete repairs and changeovers, and respond to equipment breakdowns to help minimize downtime. You’ll work closely with Operations, Quality, Sanitation, and other teams to keep our manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently.

Our Maintenance Technician positions are structured across multiple skill levels, allowing technicians to be placed and grow based on their experience, technical capabilities, and demonstrated proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.

• Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
