Job summary

STRONG SPIRITS INC. in Bardstown, KY is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to support bottling-line equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production machinery while helping minimize downtime in a fast-paced environment.

This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial equipment, and the ability to work evenings on a 3-day workweek. Health, dental, vision, life insurance, and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and dependable in a hands-on industrial setting.

Monday–Wednesday | 5:00 PM–6:00 AM

3-Day Workweek | Full-Time

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team and help support the equipment and day-to-day operations of our Bottling Department.

About the Role

Our Maintenance Technicians work closely with our Bottling and Maintenance teams to keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently. This position is hands‑on and involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining bottling equipment while helping minimize downtime and keep production moving.

After training with an experienced member of our Maintenance team, responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing bottling equipment, including rinsers, fillers, conveyors, labelers, and other production equipment
• Performing preventive maintenance on bottling equipment
• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Assisting with bottling line changeovers
• Identifying equipment issues and communicating with Bottling and Maintenance leadership
• Providing suggestions for equipment and process improvements
• Assisting with training and supporting equipment operators once fully trained
• Following GMPs, safety procedures, and company standards
• Maintaining a professional, respectful, and team-focused work environment
  

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a hands‑on industrial environment.

Preferred skills and experience include:

• Experience working with industrial or production equipment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• PLC experience
• Knowledge of VFDs, motor starters, and drives
• General electrical and motor knowledge
• Welding skills
• Basic computer and spreadsheet skills
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and/or forklifts
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced production environment
• Industrial Maintenance education or training
