Job summary

Envirotest, a subsidiary of Opus Inspection, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Baltimore to support emission equipment and station systems. Responsibilities include maintenance, diagnostics and calibration of emission-related equipment, installation, testing, and calibration of systems, and keeping detailed service records.

• Conduct scheduled routine maintenance tasks per established procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
• Driving up to 30% of the time.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to play a key role in the maintenance of our stations and emission equipment.

• Install, test and calibrate equipment to ensure peak performance.

Skills & Knowledge Needed

• Knowledge of testing equipment, including digital voltmeters, and other types of test equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical tools and equipment.
• Frequent bending, lifting, climbing, pushing and pulling up to 50% of the time.
• Must be capable of properly lifting 75 pounds from ground level to chest level.
• Proven written and verbal communications skills.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work independently and with little supervision.
