Job summary

True Neighbor Services in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. You will perform maintenance, repair, and renovation work for multifamily, commercial, and residential properties throughout the Greater Austin area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance, apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or handyman experience.
• Experience in multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• HVAC certification or experience is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work both indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Must pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repair work orders for multifamily, commercial properties, and residential properties.
• Perform general repairs including drywall, doors, locks, trim, flooring, painting, and minor carpentry.
• Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs within your skillset.
• Install and replace fixtures and hardware.
• Perform preventive maintenance and property inspections.
• Document completed work and communicate effectively with office staff and property managers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Compensation

• $55,000-$73,000 annually, depending on experience
• Full-time position
• PTO, dental, and vision insurance (Employee's Healthcare is covered 100%)
