Maintenance Technician, Little Rock AR

Starting pay: $27.50 per hour plus $.95 shift differential.

Training on 1st shift for 4-6 months, 4:00 am - 2:30 pm. After 3-6 months depending on experience, move to a 2nd or 3rd shift.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

1. Perform mechanical repairs, modifications, and installations.
2. Perform sheet metal repairs, modifications, and installations.
3. Perform preventive maintenance work on plant, lab, office, and maintenance equipment.
4. Perform minor building maintenance work with minimum assistance.
5. Complete carpentry, plumbing, welding, painting, and construction projects with assistance only on the more complex problems. Assist Electrician when required.
6. Read and interpret all routine blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
7. Weld most projects without assistance.
8. Check safety equipment per schedule.
9. Assist in cleaning and yard work.
10. Assist with scheduling, processing work requests, and purchasing.
11. Assume responsibility for work in absence of supervisor.
12. Assist in training new employees in all phases of work.
13. Confined Space Entry.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment with exposure to extreme temperature variations and excessive noise levels.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move over, under, and around production equipment.
• PLC experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 60 pounds.
• Must have strong troubleshooting skills.
