Job summary

Caliber Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure rental units are prepared to high standards. The role runs full-time from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call rotation after hours. Pay starts at $26-$28 per hour.

Responsibilities include repairs, installation, landscaping, cleaning, and thorough unit inspections. You will document progress in property management software and support preventative maintenance tasks.

Maintenance Technician

Salary Range: $26.00 To $28.00 Hourly

Caliber Companyis a real estate development company that specializes in land development, architecture, construction, property management, custom home building and realty. We’re seeking Maintenance Technicianresponsible for ensuring our rental units are turned over in a timely manner and to the highest quality standards to join our Caliber Property Management Team. This role includes performing routine maintenance tasks, property checks and preventative maintenance in a professional manner.

Full-time -8:00am – 4:00pm Monday through Friday with availability after hours for on-call rotation.

Pay – $26-$28 per hour to start.

Your role will include.

Repairs: Diagnosing and repairing problems with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall and other rental unit related items

Installation: Installing fixtures and appliances (lifting up to 70lbs)

Landscaping: Maintaining the exterior of the building, including picking up trash and debris

Cleaning: Cleaning and maintaining common areas and lobbies

Inspect - Vacant units and identify repairs or replacements needed

Maintenance – Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall and appliance repair. Help with work orders as needed.

Paint –Perform up to full paint of a unit

Walkthroughs – Ensure make ready units meet deadlines and quality standards by conducting final walkthroughs.

Communication –Maintain accurate records of work completed in property management software and communicate progress and issues with maintenance leaders.

Preventative –Assist with preventive maintenance tasks.

Emergency Response –Being on an on-call rotation to respond to emergency issues. (once every 10-14 weeks)

Safety – Maintaining fire, carbon monoxide, smoke systems and inspection checks. Ensuring that the properties are safe, clean and habitual at all times.

Compensation and Benefits
