Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions in Alexandria, MN seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep manufacturing equipment running and to implement TPM across the facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment while coordinating maintenance budgets and safety requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical and electrical problem-solving abilities, and good communication. Experience with plant equipment, blueprint reading, and root-cause analysis is essential

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install all plant equipment.
• Oversee Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) processes.
• Educate, direct, and support employees on TPM and equipment maintenance.
• Identify cost-effective replacements for obsolete components.
• Adjust repairs or replace parts and assemblies as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints for repair and installation.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Technician at Contech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of our manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and install all plant equipment.
• Accountable for Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) process.
• Educates, directs, and supports employees in reference to TPM and equipment repair compliance and is responsible for maintenance budget.
• Identifying cost-effective solutions for replacing obsolete components.
• Adjusts repairs or replaces parts, assemblies, and machine equipment.
• Reads and interprets blueprints for repair and installation of equipment.
