Job summary

Integral Senior Living in California is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform maintenance and housekeeping duties around the community, handling service requests for repairs to grounds, buildings, equipment, and vehicles.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of maintenance experience, a basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and safety regulations, and the ability to respond to emergencies and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• One year maintenance experience required.
• Ability to be on call if needed.
• General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and code compliance.
• Understand OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside scheduled hours.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
• Executes routine maintenance to repair and maintain buildings, equipment, and vehicles promptly and cost-effectively.
• Maintenance tasks may include fixing wall/floor coverings, repairing furniture, basic plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, painting, HVAC, and refurbishing projects.

Our community is looking for a Maintenance Technicianto join our team.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
• Performs routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Routine maintenance duties may include: fixing wall and/or floor coverings; repairing furniture and fixtures; performing basic plumbing work; performing minor electrical repairs; repairing appliances; painting and refurbishing projects, working with heating and air systems, refrigeration systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance and “make ready” rooms as assigned.
