Job summary

Ariel Corporation in Mount Vernon, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technical Instructor to advance the skills of our maintenance team in a world-class training center. You will deliver advanced technical training to technicians and help grow the next generation of skilled maintenance professionals.

You’ll lead hands-on labs, develop training programs, and evaluate trainee progress while supporting the Registered Industrial Maintenance Apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in education, industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience; manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience facilitating instructor-led maintenance training.
• Demonstrated ability to engage audiences and lead discussions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to create a positive and interactive learning environment.
• Experience in facilitating hands-on maintenance lab activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced technical training to maintenance technicians in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and more.
• Develop and improve hands-on training programs using our extensive equipment.
• Support the development and progression of maintenance technicians through the apprenticeship program.
• Evaluate trainee knowledge and hands-on competency.
• Continuously improve training content, methods, and learning experiences.
