TIME Manufacturing Company is seeking a Maintenance Technical in Waco, TX. The role blends hands-on maintenance with leadership, overseeing a small team and contributing to production operations at our Versalift facility.

You will spend roughly 25% on facility maintenance and 75% on technical production tasks, including cab electrical installs, chassis programming, and quality checks. The ideal candidate balances priorities with safety and quality in a fast-paced plant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a maintenance, electrical, or technical production environment preferred.
• Proficiency in basic facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing, lighting, and minor repairs.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility repairs, including plumbing, lighting, and general upkeep.
• Prepare vehicle bodies, chassis, and subassemblies for electrical work and component installation.
• Support hydraulic and fabrication installation tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize tasks and allocate resources to meet production schedules and budget guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.

Summary

The Maintenance Technical plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence at our Versalift facility. This position blends hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership skills, overseeing a small maintenance team while contributing directly to production operations. Approximately 25% of the role focuses on managing facility maintenance activities, performing minor repairs, and ensuring the plant remains safe and operational. The remaining 75% involves technical production work, including cab electrical installs, chassis programming, component preparation, hydraulic and fabrication assistance, and conducting quality checks throughout the production process. The ideal candidate is a versatile, solutions-oriented professional who can balance multiple priorities, lead by example, and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
