Southwood Realty is seeking a Maintenance Tech with Cert to uphold the upkeep of Ballantyne Columbus properties in Columbus, GA. This full-time role focuses on efficient on-site maintenance and preventative tasks to keep buildings and grounds in good condition.

Responsibilities include completing requests within 24 hours, following up for customer satisfaction, ensuring OSHA safety compliance, contributing to improvement plans, turning vacant units within 5 days, and maintaining ready conditions

Job Summary

Maintain efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds. Complete onsite maintenance and preventative maintenance in order to maintain the physical condition of the property.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete all service and maintenance requests within 24-hours
• Follow up on service requests to assure customer satisfaction
• Insures OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times
• Participate in implementation of an ongoing property maintenance and improvement plan
• Produce turns on vacant units within 5 working days
• Maintain 80% of vacant units in “ready” condition at all times
• Maintain vacant units daily

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Constant need to perform standing and walking activities related to inspecting and repairing the property. Frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Must be customer service oriented

Must also have HVAC and EPA certification
